Recycled Perforated LP Record Cushions - Now Available

Sep 22nd 2020

At Anticuria, we have tons of unsearched LP's. Often times we find empty covers, saved by their previous owners for reasons unbeknownst to us. At Anticuria, we also have an industrial cardboard perforator that we use to recycle cardboard boxes for use as packing material to protect items during shipment.
Rather than just throwing away the empty covers or recycling them in the cardboard bin, we're offering lots of 25 of the covers that have been perforated for use as cushions/pads for insert in LP mailers to prevent records from shifting during shipment.
These are made from standard 12" cardboard LP covers. The perforations "puff" the covers up to form a thick soft pad that can be used to fill standard sized LP mailers. The covers are pliable and can be also be stretched out like an accordion to wrap around objects similarly to bubble wrap. The covers are chosen at random and come from a wide range of ages, artists and genres. They are an interesting way to reuse and recycle otherwise useless covers. The graphics on the perforated covers is still visible and not only are they visually appealing for recipients to receive, they can be recycled or reused.  If you're looking for a novel and interesting method of filling the void in LP mailers, these cushions just might be the thing you're looking for, check them out!
